GreenTV (“GreenTV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates greentv.com, watch.greentv.com, and related membership, streaming, and social tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It is written for members, visitors, and for third-party platforms (including LinkedIn, Meta, X, Google, and others) that require a public privacy policy for OAuth apps.

2.1 You provide directly

Account details (name, email, username, password or social login)
Profile information you choose to add (bio, photo, links, location if offered)
Membership and payment-related information processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers on our servers when using processors such as Square or similar)
Content you submit (posts, channel applications, playlist links, feedback, support messages)
Preferences (membership settings, news topics, social broadcast consent, posting frequency)

2.2 From social and OAuth connections (My Social Broadcast / login)

If you choose to connect a third-party account (for example LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Google, or others) to sign in or to authorize GreenTV to share content on your behalf, we may receive:

Basic profile identifiers (name, username/handle, profile URL, avatar)
Email address when the provider shares it and you allow it
Access tokens and related credentials needed to post or read only what you authorized
Account or page/organization identifiers you select for posting

We use these connections only for the purposes you approve (sign-in and/or social amplification of GreenTV journalism under your controls). You can disconnect platforms in your member area or revoke access in the provider’s own security settings.

Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP
Pages and videos viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and basic analytics
Cookies and similar technologies for login sessions, preferences, security, and site performance

Provide and improve greentv.com, watch.greentv.com, memberships, and community features
Authenticate you (including Google or other social login when enabled)
Operate “My Social Broadcast” and related tools: queue content, respect your topic/frequency/consent settings, and post only to networks you connected
Process memberships, contributor tools, and support requests
Send service messages (account, security, membership). Marketing email only where allowed and with unsubscribe options where required
Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Comply with law and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use social OAuth data to spam your contacts or to post without your consent and controls.

Content you publish: according to your account and our content policies

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information (including HTTPS and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your devices.

Disconnect social platforms from My Social Broadcast / account settings
Revoke app access in LinkedIn, Meta, Google, X, or other provider dashboards

Publish content you authorized under your frequency, topic, and consent controls

We do not request permissions unrelated to those purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting the integration or revoking the app in the provider’s settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or by email when appropriate.
